Incorporating wood into your interior design is more than just a trend. It’s been done for decades and I don’t see it going anywhere anytime soon. And there’s good reason for that!

I am the first to embrace imperfection. I have lived in old houses, been man-down because we have four kids, and loved our fair share of rescue animals (although I would argue that they are all practically perfect!).

If you are anything like me you want timeless, simple design that doesn't change with the wind, but I am still guilty of trolling Pinterest for a little bit of In the Moment Bling. A little goes a long ways and these trends are here to stay!

As we celebrate the first year anniversary of our local YMCA, I am reminded of the extraordinary importance of community. A place to come together, young and old, of many faiths and ethnic backgrounds, and stages in our lives and celebrate.

Now that the warmer weather is here, my projects are heading outdoors, yay! I love to create a landscape design because it's so much fun and brings it's own design challenges along with it.

I was lucky (and I don't believe in luck). A canyon filled with dirt, eucalyptus, and assorted reptiles. An unobstructed view of the city of angels and a home filled with wood.
